Bardon Hill Manor

Bardon Hill, Leicestershire

Bardon Hill Manor

Six bedrooms, twelve guests and four and a half bathrooms, in a Georgian house with its own walled grounds — twenty minutes from Bradgate Park and the M1.

The philosophy

Bardon Hill Manor is a private six-bedroom house in the north-west corner of Leicestershire, kept for one group at a time. There are no shared corridors, no other guests and no reception desk — you take the whole house, the whole garden and the hot tub, and you close the gate behind you.

Inside, it does the things a big house should. Twelve sit down together at one table in the dining room. The kitchen is set up to cook for all of them, with a full run of glassware and crockery and an island to gather round. There's a drawing room long enough that nobody has to perch, a games room with a pool table, and a proper office for whoever has to take the call. Then the grounds, the hot tub, and six bedrooms to disappear into.

Room for everyone, and then some.

Why here

Not a big house split into rooms.

  • Exclusive use, every time

One booking at a time. The house, the grounds and the hot tub belong to your group for the whole stay.

  • Built for the awkward numbers

Six bedrooms and seven beds handle a family with in-laws, a milestone birthday, or a group of friends who'd otherwise need three cottages.

  • Booked direct, priced direct

Booking here goes straight to the owner. No listing-site service fee added on at checkout.
